For the third year in a row, Idinvest Partners organized its Idinvest SME Academy Beijing Tour on November 29th and 30th.
This year, 5 portfolio companies benefited from 20+ tailor-made B2B meetings with qualified Chinese companies. Happn, Vulcain Ingenierie, M2i Life Sciences, Nenuphar and Arterial Remodeling Technologies had the opportunity to leverage a network of entrepreneurs, businesses and key market players, which is in line with the mission of the SME Academy to help the international development of its companies. In particular, a premium business lunch brought together 100 guests including VIPs such as Jean-Pierre Raffarin, French former Prime Minister and French Ambassador to China Jean-Maurice Ripert, as well as top representatives from leading Chinese financial and corporate institutions.
Sylvain Makaya, Partner at Idinvest, stated: "In the past ten years, we have seen a significant change in Chinese investors investing in the Europe. Driven by the industrial upgrading, more and more institutions are actively seeking strategic investment opportunities in their fields in Europe. This opens the gate for more promising prospects of cooperation, and thus creates a win-win situation for the both sides."
